Procedure - Injectible Treatments for Facial Lines and Wrinkles
Sooner or later, we all suffer from lines and wrinkles - it is the natural ageing process. The depth of those lines and wrinkles depend on a variety of factors such as heredity genes, smoking and exposure to ultra violet radiation.
There are a variety of ways to treat depending on the severity of those lines and wrinkles. The use of injections to treat lines and wrinkles are usually seen as a quick fix to the problem. However, the type of injection used very much depends on how those wrinkles are caused.
As a general rule of thumb, wrinkles that are caused only when we make facial expression (such as laughing) are known as "dynamic lines" and are treated using "anti wrinkle" injections. Lines that appear when the face is at rest (ie you are not making any facial expressions) are known as "non dynamic line" or "lines at rest" and are treated using "dermal fillers".
